Annual exhibition POLLUTEC, in Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition hall, gives a special focus on environnemental technologies. It will happen from 1st to 4th dec. 2009.

At this exhibition, we will show our know-how, specifically in the environnemental sector :
- Grinding installations : shredder, cutting-, hammer-, roll- mill, delumpers
- Storage and extraction systems, with pushing floors, on sludge, solid waste, alternative fuels,...
- Drying installation
- Handling installation - chain conveyors mainly.
DELUMPERS
Lessines Industries manufactures, for decades, delumpers, following various models, following application :
- Bar rotor, with or without screen
- Knife rotor, through a fixed grid or a screen
- Knife rotor with inclined grid, for pre-screening operation. If the fine content in the material is initially high. (reduction of installed power)
- Twin rotor
Apllications are widely spread around industry :
CHEMICALS
- Fluidization for lumped material in a big-bag discharging station : de delumper is placed directly below the big-bag. Machine is heavily sized to work under this load. Stainless steel fabrication.
- Delumper on various chemical products, before a pneumatic transport. Stainless steel AISI316 fabrication with a set of screen for the various products. Certified ATEX 20/22

FOOD
- Primary grinding to feed a pin mill. Soft product. Easy removal rotor and screen for sterilization.

MINERALS
Solid fuel preparation prior cement and lime kiln.
- High troughput : 340 T/h. Abrasive product. Inclined grid for pre-screening.
- ATEX 20 Certified

OUR MIXING & STORAGE/EXTRACTIONS SOLUTIONS FOCUSED ON ENVIRONMENT CARE
I. Paddle mixers
Lessines Industries manufactures single or double shaft paddle mixers.
Applied to environmental applications, these machines allow incorporating powders (e.g. lime, toner, washing powders,...) into liquids, pastes or sludges in order to produce fuel pastes or agriculture ground improvement products.
Our recent applications are :
1. PRODUCTION OF FUEL PASTE


Customized Technology : Work under inert atmosphere conditions, with oxygen fraction control. Stainless steel execution.
2. LIMING OF SEWAGE SLUDGE

Customized Technology : Integration in an existing sewage sludge installation in replacement of a poor-efficiency pump to mix lime and mud. Very limited space available. Stainless steel execution.
3. MIXING OF FLOCULATING AGENT & BIOMETHANIZATION RESIDUE

Customized Technology : single shaft plough shear mixer, stainless steel execution, resistant to 2 bar internal pressure. Installation in ATEX 2 zone
II. Storage, Extraction and Dosing Systems
The storage and extraction of solid products in flat-bottom, round or rectangular, silos has become over years a centre of expertise of Lessines Industries.
The slow alternative motion of the scraper ensures the non-bridging and the optimal filling of the bottom-mounted screws.
These systems, although often used for sewage sludges, are also very efficient with products like biomass (plants, sawdust and wood pellets, etc) and various wastes (plastics, domestic wastes, etc).
Recent applications :
1. COMPOST AND GREEN WASTE

The product is pulled by the scraper to one side of the silo. It is then undertaken by a screw and a belt conveyor.
Customized Technology : fitting of a scraper in a silo based on a standard 20' ISO container.
2. SEWAGE SLUDGE

Customized Technology : Retrofitting of a scraper into an existing rectangular silo with 4 bottom-mounted extracting screws. The bridging did not allow the system to work efficiently. Our system corrected the problem.
3. GREEN WASTE BEFORE BIOMETHANIZATION


The product is stored in a rectangular 30m³ flat-bottom silo. The twin-ladder extractor pushes the product to one side of the silo. The dosing is ensured by the variable translating speed of the ladders. Output capacity: 7 to 54 m³/h.
Customized Technology : stainless steel execution.
4. SEWAGE SLUDGE

Customized Technology : this is up to now our biggest silo scraper, fitted in a 7m diameter silo.
